You know what grinds my gear? Uncultured people. Why does everyone have to assume their race is the best. Why can't we live in a world that is suppose to be for everyone. I still don't get it, even in this day and age. We still have bullshit racism. Blacks hate Asians, Asians hate Hispanics, Hispanics hates Europeans, and Whites hate everyone. That last one was a joke. Seriously though, why do we still have all this hate in this world. I'm going to make this short tonight. Grow up, learn a different culture, and broaden your world. There is more to life than what's in your box.
Second thing that grinds my gears. When receiving products from a copy, and they come shipped broken, and not working. I've waited weeks for this record player that Wei got me, and what happens, that shit is broken. Now I'm out 40 dollars worth of LPs, and I need to send one back and getting a new record player. Shit makes me mad. Thanks Wei for the record player though. It's the thought that counts. *Sigh* Gotta get another one.

I agree... When will it end? While in a debate regarding religion and it's benefits and how it would be fine if people didn't twist everything and then hate anyone who wasn't part of their religion, the other day. (I apologize for the rant) The woman proceeded to tell me that being gay is like choosing to smoke cigarettes, it's jut an unnatural addition that people need to overcome much like quitting cigarettes which is hard for so many people... " they just have to want it, in order to quit" ... Really?? BTW, your gear grinders seem to be quite similar every week :P
ReplyDeleteRant on friend. Its funny this is where life takes you, but you roll with the punches and the people in it. Somedays you say stuff back, and some days, you just nod your head, smile politely and try to agree. I don't enjoy people ramming crap down my throat, as I'm pretty sure they wouldn't enjoy it too much if I did it to them as well. And you know what, you're right. This is my second Grind my Gears that I wrote something very similar. I'll promise it will be light next week. Hopefully on the comedic side...or maybe I'll just continue to be surly. Meh...who knows. It's like an unknown cookie. You bite into it hoping it's choco chip.
ReplyDeleteRE Hate: some people are haters or "uncultured" as you nicely stated from the environment they grew up. Others need to explore the world more and meet different people. I didn't realize Asians hated Hispanics though lol. I personally find Hispanic guys hot and sexy with their nice tan and romantic accent.
ReplyDeleteOrdering electronics online is just a bad idea unless it costs a buck or under where u can save yourself the hassle of shipping it back and forth. Should always buy expensive electronics in stores!!!!!
You know what grinds my gear? How the trashy Kardashians and Beyonce etc. are making soooo much dinero and treating 99% BSed (well, that would be more of Beyonce-JayZ case). The U.S. gov't should make them pay half of what they earn. Think of how many jobs they can create with their income! Maybe they can close the trillion dollar deficit in 10 yrs!

Haha...I agree Kwan, hispanics are hot. Oof fah. Actually to tell you the truth, I find some Asians very closed minded as well. Whether they are born here or in their own homeland, they stick to their own kind. I don't know, maybe all cultures do that. I just find it disturbing, especially in a melting pot that is America.
ReplyDeleteOh, hahaha, I don't know. I really can't find record players in stores, especially the ones that I want. However, my bro brought the record player for me, and he tried his best. This time around, I'm choosing the next one. And yeah, I know...why would I want a record player. There's just something about the sounds of a record that you don't' get from a mp3 or cd.
And lastly, definitely taking a look at that article. Sounds interesting. I'm in.
LOL Asians are hotter. hahaha!!! I agree. there are always some people whether they are black, white, purple, yellow, or purple who are closed-minded. I really believe it's their environment and how many people they know who differ from them. I know that a few of my friends who grew up in my town who now works in the same area and are marrying guys from the same town with families from the same area that is 99% Caucasian. They can say they are not closed-minded, but no matter what, actions speak louder than words and anyone can tell they don't want t learn about other cultures or are as open as some people. It's also a matter of personality in my opinion. But people are entitled to their own opinions.
