Well Well Well

You know, in this road we call life, I'm a firm believer that ever man has to try everything once.  Not that it is bad if you don't', but I think you would live a more exciting life.  Example?  How about having your first alcoholic beverage?  Or how about the first time you learned to drive a car?  It's amazing how many of us take these moments for granted.  However, I think a majority of us remembers it.

To me the there are just a few of them that are just plain inescapable.  I like to think getting your license and driving for the very first time is one of the biggest things in life.  That's the first time you can look out the window and say...today, I am an adult.  It's the first time when you roll down your windows, blast your music, and say to the world..."Yeah, I rock."  Whether it's in a minivan or a family sedan.  It's whatever man...it's whatever.  But the biggest feeling, the biggest rush...you're free, it spells freedom actually.  Ahh...I love that sweet tender ride for the first time.

What else do I remember having the first time of?  My very first legal drink.  I've had a many illegal drinks.  However it's the first legal one that I remember very clearly.  I've always been a scotch drinker, but my first legal one was the sweetest.  What a dope, I didn't even order correctly.  Scotch, Walker Red to be exact, on the rocks.  My have things changed, I can't even stomach Red Label by itself anymore, however mix it with some amaretto, and you have yourself a very tasty godfather.  Anyway, times have changed, and my drink of choice is still the same, scotch, double, neat.  Clean, delicious, and an easy way for me to get drunk.  Nice...

Last thing that shapes a person to who they are going to be, well, I guess it isn't the last thing, but to me it's a big thing.  I think my first concert experience is a big thing.  However, it's seeing your idol for the first time that makes it the biggest.  I've seen KG so many times now it has lost all meaning.  However, every time I see her perform, I still get chills.  The only reason why I wanted to learn how to play the guitar was because of her.  She moved me just so I can learn to play an instrument that I always thought I could never do.  I know I'm not the greatest guitar player ever, however, I know a thing or two about a thing or two on the old six string I have.  I guess I really can't thank anyone else but her.  Thanks KG, you may not know it, but your influence stretches long and far, and your music touches peoples' souls.  I lead a different life because of her concert, her music, and in general, herself.

The above video makes me proud.  I've have been training and raising funds for RTK for the better part of the last 3 months.  Training is getting more intense now, and fundraising is over, but RTK is still here.  I like to thank everyone that personally offered to my charity.  I myself earned a little over $700.  And the above is the total amount from all of us RTKers.  To me it's a great accomplishment, and I made and helped my idol's dream come true.  Thank you all for your generosity.  I truly appreciate it.

New Blogger Interface

Uhhh...what is it with everyone changing everything?  Now don't get me wrong.  I love change and all, but I hate when it comes to learning a new thing on Facebook or a new thing on this thingamabob...it's just confusing me. So yeah...that's my complaint, and what grinds my gear tonight.  Hahaha...no no I'm not doing a Grind My Gears column tonight.

Tonight, lets reflect on the things that make us scratch our heads.  Now, not that I've been contemplating suicide or anything.  However I have been listening to a podcast while at work with the topic of suicide.  I don't know what it is, I'm deathly afraid of dying.  I think a majority of us are.  So have you ever wonder what it would be like to take your own life?  There are so many ways to go, and I don't know, they all seem pretty grisly to me.  I don't think I would ever do it.  Okay, I'm done with this somber topic.

So I guess I'm all over the place right now.  I got all this energy, and I think I'm gonna go play some battlefield 3 again tonight.  So keeping it short tonight boys and girls.  Thinking of my next move in life, and I'm thinking it's going to be a glorious move.  And boom goes the dynamite.

Where Have I Gone?!

Oh my goodness, I don't think you know how nice it is to be writing on my blog.  I feel like I've been away from my child forever, and now I'm finally back.  He's back folks, that's right, I'm back.  I think the last thing I wrote about was all that crazy hype from the lottery.  Well, I didn't win, and I'm still working.  However, it's all good.  I'm happy with the way thing have been going and how they are going.  Gotta say, lots of things have been going on.  The biggest thing, new chapter in my life is about to begin.  However before I get to that.  Let me tell you about one of the most amazing weekends recently.

Yup, it's that time of year again, and my celebrity crush/idol had come to town.  I'm not even going to front and say that I'm on a different level with this fandom of mine.  I know for a fact I have an infatuation.  However, it's a good and healthy one.  I don't know what it is, I'm just crazy about this girl.  I can't help if she is a drop dead gorgeous woman, and that she's uber talented, and she has a voice of an angel.  Cause she is definitely all those things.  However, I don't know what it is.  I never met a celebrity that was this kind, and knew that she was lucky because of all her fans.  It just makes me proud that I was able to enjoy her music right from the beginning.  I don't know.  I guess, I'm proud of the fact that I chose to idolize a singer that is deserving to be idolized.  If you ever get a chance go to one of her concerts.  It's totally worth it.

Oh shout out to the Shirley-nator, Jorge, and Christoph for seeing their first Kina concert.  I'm converting fans, one Kinerd at a time.  Well, let me stop gushing here and move on to the next order of things.

So lets see what else has been going on in my life?  Well work for one thing.  It has been a hectic time.  Also one of the main reasons why I haven't been on here as much.   However things are changing slowly but surely.  I'll be back on here soon enough.  If it isn't work, then it'll definitely be Battle Field 3 on PS3. George has gotten me hooked, and I'm bit.  That and the guitar.  I'm getting back into the swing of things again.  It feels good to just lock myself away, and continue playing.  Even if it is only a hour a week.  It feels like I'm getting my shit back together you know.

What else, what else?  Well Jay's birthday has past, so has Steffie's.  Birthday shout outs to both of them...HEYY!!  Life has been pretty hectic.  Still running for RTK and still training for this 5K, up $500 in my donations received.  I feel awesome about the whole thing.  I'm glad I got great family, friends, and supporters.  GO RUN TEAM KINA.  Check out my site and leave a donation if you like.  Only two more days to go.  Then I wait for the big run in June...ugh...I'm freaking out because of that.

Hmm...I know I'm missing a ton of stuff, but this is just a quick run down of things lately.  A couple of more days, and I'm going to have a ton of stuff to say.  So keep posted ladies and gents. I'm going to make things very very very interesting.  Until then, enjoy a little Kina of course.  ^___^ courtesy of me and the Kina concert on 4/21/12.

Lottery Hoopla

This past Friday we had one of the largest lottery in history.  A whopping $640 Million Dollar Mega Million Drawing, and before everyones' dreams came crashing back down to reality on them, mine included, everyone was dreaming big things, and imaging big things.  We all have those dreams, new cars, new homes, new toys and gadgets.  However what happens when the dust settles, charities have been made, new toys have been brought, family and friends have been given their cut.  What do you do with the rest of that money?  Obviously there are a million things you could do with it.  If you were smart, you obviously invest a majority of it right off the bat?  Making sure your money keeps making money.  It's only the smartest thing to do.

Anyway, tonights blog will consist of the the first 10 things I would do with my lottery winnings.  As much as a fantasy it is, I still love to dream and imagine what I do with my winnings.  By the way this list doesn't state the obvious of me giving to charity and family and friends already.  Cause that's just plain old first thing I would do.  So anywhoo...on to the fun stuff.

10. Earn a Centurion Card

It's an idiotic thing, and I know I don't need one.  But man I would really love to have one.  I guess it was just a goal of mine.  I've always wanted to have one.  Just a something a little different.  Well, even though I didn't get one yet, it's one of the things I would attempt to get if I had won the Mega Millions.  The idea of carrying a big metal card is exciting to me.

9.  67 Shelby GT500

Of course I want my 86 Toyota Corolla, but I sure as all hell want me a 67 Shelby GT500 Super Snake.  This may be one of the first vehicles I would've purchased outright if I could.  This thing is wickedly beautiful and stunning.  And at the same time, devastatingly mean and aggressive.  I know two things that may happen if I ever purchase one of these bad boys.  Me crashing, or me getting my first speeding ticket ever.  I shudder at the thought of having one of these.

8.  Trip around the World

Can't really put a picture up, all I can say is that I would never stop traveling, I travel until I get sick of it.   And even then, I don't think it's feasible for me to do that.  All around the world, I start in America and do all 50 states...then just continue on traveling west till I get back to the states.  Good times that would be.  All would be welcome to come.

7.  Ultimate Man Cave

I want my cave to have the good stuff.  Stocked bar, huge tv, epic sound systems, every gaming console possible, awesome pool table and then some.  However the most important part about my man cave.  I must have a walk in humidor included with the cave.  I don't really care about what else goes in there, as long as I have a walk in humidor and a place for me and my friends to smoke cigars and even a hookah lounge if possible.  I want to be able to watch a game and have a drink in my right hand and be able to smoke a cigar in my other.  That is what I want in an ultimate man cave.

6.  ...

This has turned out a lot harder than it looks.  I honestly don't know what I would get for the rest of these.  Honestly, what else would you have to worry about right?  Maybe I'll sleep on it and the rest would come to me however for now, I have 4.  Oh boy 6 more to think of...geez.

Lottery, Beerfest, Asian-Day, basically busy weekend.

Wow, I thought last weekend was busy.  This was an absolutely monstrous weekend, and it all began on Friday.  Friday was nice.  I got myself all hyped up for the Mega Million drawings and brought over $45 worth of lottery tickets.  Why?  Cause I thought I should play the odds.  I'm so stupid.  But you gotta play to win right?  Right.  So here I am Friday evening, hanging with Dave and Steffie enjoying our pizza and making pretzel necklaces for Beerfest.  First things first.  Pretzel necklaces get done, and we are on our way to play some hockey.  Steffie goes to bed, and it's up to me and Dave to finish the night out.  Lets just say the evening ended with a little drama, and the calling of cops.  I have to say, we are the dumbest smart guys I know.  *Sigh*

Saturday is upon us, and well.  I like to say I remember a majority of this day/evening, however it was kinda hazy.  And technically I didn't start remembering till about 6ish.  All I remember was that I drank a shit ton of beer, and that I had an epic lobster roll with the awesome Stephanie...she's such a trooper.  GTs this year.  Still can't help and say that I sure as hell missed Dave a ton.  I love that guy.

Well as for today, today was Asian Day.  I was suppose to help CL buy an iMac, but she insisted that I didn't need to help her.  So here we are, anywhoo, a little dim sum action, then boba tea, Reading Terminal, then a mini bar crawl.  It has been a very busy weekend.  Shout out to Ro, Player, and Crystal.  Those kids are the shit, almost honestly.  I'm glad I've surrounded myself with great people.  All my friends are family, I'm glad I have a great family to hangout with.

Another thing guys.  Still taking donations for my RTK donation page.  Would really appreciate the help and shout outs.  You guys will make it happen, and I appreciate it.  Much love everybody and peace peace.

Help spread the love people please.  Whether it's Twitter, Facebook, blogspot, or whatever.  Help me fight cancer and please make a donation.
